Can you actually go hunting for truffles in Sicily? Yes, you can, dear friends! In the countryside, a few kilometres away from Noto, among inchanting landscapes, through the woods, it is possible to live an extraordinary experience, hunting for truffles, which involves the tasting of typical Sicilian products. This is a tour for nature, food and wine lovers which starts by going for a walk along the many paths of the area in order to admire the amazing flora and fauna of the Syracuse hinterland and then head into the woods in search of the tasty treasure, under the guidance of an experienced truffle hunter and his faithful four-legged friends! Thanks to their great sense of smell, we are going to find the precious truffle. After going through such thrilling excitement in close contact with nature, spotting hidden truffle forests, there will come a time to move and attend a delectable banquet! A convivial barbecue, based on typical Sicilian products and truffle, awaits us, among prickly pear plants, all accompanied by botanical cocktails and locally-produced liqueurs!

Since this experience takes place in the countryside of Noto, it is not possible to get to the meeting point by train and/or bus. If you haven’t got your own car available to reach the experience location you should consider a private transfer service. Feel free to ask Tury’s staff to provide an exclusive shuttle service just for you.
Depending on the season you can find the black truffes and white truffle.
Yes you can. After the experience, guests can buy truffles with dedicated rates.
If weather condition do not allow to the truffles hunting, the experience would be postponed by mutual agreement or canceled. In case of cancellation due to bad weather conditions any deposit will bu fully refunded.
The truffles hunting is an experience suitable for families with kids, anyway the participation is not suggested for children under 7yo.
