This boat cruise along the Sicilian Sea will give you the chance to visit every island in the area and the most beautiful beaches. You will sail along the coast, aboard an amazing historic caique, from Vulcano to Panarea, Stromboli, Salina, Filicudi and Lipari. The boat cruise includes both sea-related and on-shore activities, such as excursions in order to admire volcanoes and amazing views of various towns, and enjoy snorkelling and bathing. Schedule:
Day 1)
Accommodation assignment and departure; welcoming cocktail, meeting with the captain for information about safety procedures on board. Dinner and evening walk along Milazzo.
Day 2)
Breakfast on board and departure for Vulcano Island, bathing break in the Pool of Venus and stop at the Grotta del Cavallo – (Horse Grotto). You can choose to go on an excursion upon a small crater in order to admire the fumaroles more closely. In the evening, you will have free time to have dinner on the island in any way you choose.
Day 3)
Breakfast on board and departure for Panarea: along the way, you shall visit the islets of Bottaro and Lisca Bianca and take bathing breaks. After lunch on board, we will move on towards Stromboli where we have arranged two different kinds of ways to visit the volcano: hiking lovers will have the chance to get close to the top of the volcano with our guide and have a night picnic, looking at the eruptions. Those who do not wish to experience this may simply go for a walk at an altitude of 400 metres in order to admire the Stromboli volcano eruptions from a different angle.
Day 4)
Breakfast on board and departure for Panarea, visit to an ancient archaeological site at the port of St Peter dating back to the 14th century and walk along the village of Capo Milazzese.
Lunch on board and departure for Salina Island, visit to the opposite villages and subsequent dinner on board.
Day 5)
Breakfast on board, circumnavigation of Salina Island including a bathing break in Pollara Bay. Lunch on board and departure for Filicudi. In the evening, you shall visit the evocative village of Pecorini and have dinner on board.
Day 6)
Breakfast on board and departure for Lipari. Circumnavigation of the coast and bathing break in order to admire pumice-stone quarries more closely. Lunch on board and arrival in Lipari. Free evening in Lipari.
Day 7)
Breakfast on board, visit to Lipari and the Volcanological Museum and the Archaeological Museum. We will also take a closer look at the wonderful sea stacks of Lipari. Crossing of Lipari, arrival in Milazzo and free evening. Lunch and dinner on board.
Day 8)
Breakfast on board and disembarkation at the port, scheduled for 9:30 a.m.
