  •  We will start from the intricate alleys of the Arab quarter of Rabato in Sutera, to reach the top of San Paolino Mount covering a difference in altitude of 200 meters and admiring the wonderful 360° panorama of Sicily.Then we will go to Mussomeli to visit the beautiful medieval castle with its ghost stories and fascinating architecture.

  • We will get to know the historic center of Caltanissetta from the ancient Arab quarter to the seventeenth-century city with its baroque churches, including the Cathedral with frescoes by Borremans, the unfinished Palazzo Moncada and the Church of Sant'Agata al Collegio. At the end we will taste the renowned nougat made with extraordinary local raw materials.

  •  During the visit to the Persico sulfur mine, in use from the early nineteenth century until around 1960, you will understand the entire sulfur production process. You will be able to relive the history of the miners among the "calcaroni" and Gill ovens and retrace like the carusi the characteristic stairs of the galleries and descents that led into the bowels of the earth.
