About me: I graduated from classical high school. I'm a Geologist-Volcanologist expert of Mount Etna, PhD in Environmental Sciences with a thesis in the Strait of Magellan (Chile). I have obtained the national qualification of Associate Professor to teach "Geography". I worked as a consultant with the international cooperation in Chile, to the European Parliament and for 15 years I was Director of 2 nature reserves in Sicily. Since 1987, I am working as nature guide leading groups of tourists, universities students and schoolchildren along the paths of the Etna Park and other protected areas in Sicily. In 2000, I received my tourist guide license and in 2007 the tour leader one; I am a qualified freelance working for Italian and foreign travel agencies, in Sicily, Italy and abroad. I am passionate about photography, sport and music. I have been involved as consultant in the production of television programmes and documentaries for Italian National and Private TV and foreing TV (RAI 1 and RAI 3, Canale 5, Discovery Channel, ZDF, France Culture, ITN, CNN, etc.)
